Abstract

The enforcement of agreements in employment contracts is crucial in the Indonesian labor world. In practice, there are often disputes between workers and employers related to the implementation of the rights and obligations of each party. The purpose of this study is to analyze the challenges faced in the enforcement of employment contracts and how legal aspects can play a role in resolving disputes between workers and employers. This study uses a normative approach with an analysis of applicable laws and regulations, court decisions, and legal doctrines. The results of the study show that although there are rules governing employment contracts, there are still gaps in their implementation and enforcement, making it difficult for workers to obtain their rights. This study also provides recommendations for improvements in the employment dispute resolution system through a more transparent and fair mechanism.
